Richie Moriarty


Richie Moriarty is an actor, writer, and improviser, living in New York City. He can be seen in the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015) created by Tina Fey. He is also known for Going in Style (2017), How to Be Single (2016), The Mysteries of Laura (2014), Power (2014), and Chasing Life (2014). Richie is a graduate of Boston College and originally hails from Rockville, Maryland. He performs as an actor on Maude Night at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. His comedy group, Simply Unemployable, is a Channel Partner at Above Average, the digital arm of Broadway Video. Simply Unemployable sketches have been featured on Buzzfeed, Digg, College Humor, Splitsider, NPR and Huffington Post among others. Simply Unemployable performs live improv and sketch comedy regularly in New York City and travels all around the country to perform. Previously, Richie performed improv and sketch for 4 years as part of the mainstage cast at Improv Asylum in Boston.
